#PM851 - Popular Mechanics, August 1951. Probably the earliest American magazine featuring scuba divers, this 252-page magazine has a cover story and photos from the movie, "The Frogmen". Excellent condition. Price $35.00.

#PS753 - Popular Science, July 1953. Probably the earliest magazine with an article on how to make your own scuba gear entitled "How to Build and Use a Diving Lung".  The article shows how to convert an aircraft oxygen regulator into a scuba regulator along with building backpacks, tanks, snorkels, camera housings and more. A very sought after magazine for the scuba collector.  Some ink writing in the cover word "Popular", but otherwise excellent condition. Price $26.00.

#PS654 - Popular Science, June 1954. Another great article on "How to Build a Beginner's Diving Outfit" including how to build a hand operated surface supply compressor. Excellent condition. Price $25.00.

#SI1162 - Sports Illustrated, November 5, 1962. Great cover and 6 page article about diving for gold in California. Cover has slight crease, otherwise very good condition. Price $18.00.

#MI751 - Mechanix Illustrated, July 1951. This is one of the earliest magazines with a scuba cover story.  Article is entitled, "How US Navy Shoots Underwater Photos" and it includes some really great shots.  Cover shows wear, with 1/2 inch chip in upper left corner.  Price $25.00.

#PM1052 - Popular Mechanics, October 1952. Cover photo shows early diver riding a "Sea Glider" and includes a 5 page article with lots of color photos.  Excellent copy with clean white pages and NO mailing label. Price $25.00.

#PS965 - Popular Science, September 1965. Cover story entitled "How Jon Lindbergh Works the Ocean Floor".  Also includes an article on the Chrysler Street 426 Hemi. Good condition. Price $14.00.

#MI354 - Mechanix Illustrated, March 1954. Early issue to show scuba. Cover story entitled "Explorer's One-Man Sub". Two-page article with good photos. Cover shows wear. Price $14.00.

#MI466 - Mechanix Illustrated, April 1966.  Cover story features an electric powered sub for under $150.00! Nine-page article with good photos and complete plans. Good condition. Price $14.00.

#MI962 - Mechanix Illustrated, September 1962. Cover story entitled, "Exploring Underwater in a Baby Sub". Eight-page article with good photos showing all the mini-subs and diver tow scooters available. Great reference. Cover loose. Price $14.00.

#PM762 - Popular Mechanics, September 1962. Cover story entitled "Scuba Search". Great 8-page article with many photos shows different ways of searching underwater with sonar, scooters, tow rigs, etc. Excellent condition. Price $15.00.

#AR1062 - Argosy, October 1962. Fantastic cover photo shows a "para frogman" ready to leap from a RC-54 to rescue a downed space capsule. Includes 6-page article with lots of photos. Cover has a small square missing in the lower right corner where the mailing label was, otherwise excellent condition. Price $12.00.

#PM774 - Popular Mechanics, July 1974. Article and photo show a motorized underwater scooter you can build. Seven-page article has photos and cut-away drawings. Excellent copy. Price $13.00.

#PM767 - Popular Mechanics, July 1967. Cover story entitled "Build PM's Exciting Underwater Aquaplane". Photos with basic plans. Also an article about dolphins trained for US Navy missions. Good condition. Price $13.00.

#TRU1063 - True - The Man's Magazine, October 1963. Great cover photo of Cousteau diver and article "The Living Sea" condensed from Jacque Cousteau's best-selling book. Article is 21 pages long with some great photos! Cover shows wear and some chipping along the edge, some inside pages slightly yellowed.  Price $15.00.

#AR1063 - Argosy, October 1963. Nice cover photo shows diver in an early Miller Dunn shallow water helmet. Three-page article is entitled, "Rogues' Gallery of the Deep". Nice condition. Price $25.00.

#PM768 - Popular Mechanics, September 1968. Cover story reads, "Sealab III, Home Sweet Home at 600 Feet! Great 7-page article with lots of photos and an incredible two-page cutaway of Sealab. Cover shows wear but otherwise good condition. Price $15.00.

#BL864 - Boy's Life, August 1964. Cover features boy snorkeling. Article inside deals with water safety. Creases and closed tear near address label on front cover. Otherwise good condition. Price $15.00.
